Bus Mechanic in Landen BELGIE 5364 2019-09-10 IMPACT


Job description

• You will be diagnosing electrical malfunctions in busses, trucks and vans using mostly Mercedes diagnostic program

• You will also dissemble some mechanical parts to find out the fault

• You will be working according to the electronic diagrams

• You’ll be testing the connection, changing cables, sensors, EBS, ADS, etc...

• You’ll be repairing mechanical malfunctions as well: replacing clutch, engine, brakes, etc...

• Configuration of engine management

• You will work in an atelier


• Min. 5 years of experience in electronics of busses and trucks

• Very good knowledge in reading and interpretation of the electric diagrams

• Very good knowledge of diagnostic programs (preferably Mercedes)

• Communicative knowledge of English

• Short circuit detection

• Knowledge of ABS/EBS

• Knowledge of air suspension system, door locking system

• Being able to connect/fix electrical relay

• Engine management

• Changing cables

• Ability to dissemble mechanical parts and place new ones (clutch, gearbox, etc.)

• General maintenance (changing oil, brakes, filters)

• High degree of PRECITION

• Sense of responsibility

• Very good motivation required

• Good organisation and keeping the working place clean


• Fully legal employment according to Belgian law among which social security, health insurance, building up the right for a Belgian pension

• Salary 14,00 - 16,00 € gross/hour

• Furnished accommodation - single rooms, unlimited internet, water, gas and electricity included - payable 72€/week

• Refund of transport cost to Belgium up to 125€ after four work weeks

• End of year bonus - 8,33% of gross yearly salary

• Holiday bonus - 15,38% of gross yearly salary
