Job description

We are looking for skilled welders to cut and join metals and other materials at our facilities or construction sites. You will operate appropriate equipment to put together mechanical structures or parts with a great deal of precision. The ideal candidate will also have a steady hand and great attention to detail.


  • You interpret the instructions and work schedules
  • You set up and operate the semi-automatic welding equipment and machines
  • Set up components for welding according to specifications (e.g. cut material with powered saws to match measurements)
  • Operate angle grinders to prepare the parts that must be welded
  • Weld components using manual or semi-automatic welding equipment in various positions (vertical, horizontal or overhead)
  • Repair machinery and other components by welding pieces and filling gaps
  • Test and inspect welded surfaces and structure to discover flaws
  • Maintain equipment in a condition that does not compromise safety


  • Proven experience as welder
  • Ability to read and interpret technical documents and drawings
  • Attention to detail
  • Professional Certification (e.g. an AWS welding certificate) will be a plus
  • Your knowledge of English or French is good


• fully legal employment according to Belgian law among which social security, health insurance, building up the right for a Belgian pension

• salary 15.00€ gross/hour, depending on experience

• furnished accommodation - single rooms, internet, water, gas and electricity included - payable 72€/week

• refund of transport cost to Belgium up to 125€ after four work weeks

• end of year bonus - 8,33% of gross yearly salary

• holiday bonus - 15,38% of gross yearly salary
