Job description

Stewal is a family company, which counts 30 employees and where delivering quality is very important. They are milling, turning, sharpening pieces which are too hard for other companies to process. They are specifically looking for high quality millers, turners or sharpeners who are able to take this challenge and deliver the highest quality. They deliver very complex milling/turning/cutting pieces, detailed mechanic tooling. They are or looking for someone who can also program (basic), work with G codes, write small programs OR someone who is a full time programmer and works with simulations on the PC. 

  • 3/4/5 axes 
  • Drawing test of 15 minutes by arrival
  • Detailed milling/turning/cutting
  • Very complex pieces
  • Programming basic skills (G-codes) OR high skills (simulations on PC)


  • Experience is a must (milling/turning/cutting or both)
  • Experience with every kind of machine is good, the company has them all (Fanuc, Heidenhain, Mazatrol...), experience with Cad Cam is a plus
  • Good English skills, communication is very important
  • A2 diploma mechanica 
  • Programming skills, being able to set the machine up
  • Work independently 
  • Abstract thinking is required
  • Attitude is very important, willing to educate people on the job, but basic experience needs to be there
  • Someone who is willing to engage on long term (definitely more than 5 years)


  • fully legal employment according to Belgian law
  • salary minimum 15 euro gross/hour, willing to pay more according to experience & skills showed on the working place accommodation - single rooms payable 72€/week
  • No shift work, but possibility to chose your own work hours. 
  • Overhours are possible, sometimes weekend work too
  • Company closes 3 weeks in july & august, 1 week with Christmas, 12 extra days of holiday & 6 days free to chose
  • refund of transport cost to Belgium up to 125€

  • end of year bonus 8,33% of gross yearly salary
